Q: Do you still print Long Riders© Magazine on paper?A: We no longer print Long Riders© Magazine on paper. We have not since October 2004. We wanted to reach more readers around the world and give you more exciting interactive elements such as embedded video and audio. Links to advertisers, clubs, event promoters and more. With the digital version, you can print any page to share or frame.
Long Riders is NOT a web magazine. UNLIKE A WEB MAGAZINE, you can download the digital magazine to your computer. Save it or burn to a CD. We also provide artwork of a CD label for your convenience.
Q: Is Long Riders© Magazine really FREE?A: Long Riders© Magazine digital download is COMPLETELY FREE. If you have dial up internet service and cannot download the magazine, we do offer each issue on CD which is mailed to you each month. There is a charge for the CD subscription. Q: Does Long Riders© Magazine sell or distribute my personal information and/or email address?A: NO! We never share your email or personal information with anyone. As email users ourselves, we know the horrors of SPAM and do not want to contribute to you receiving any unwanted crap. We will use your email to send you a monthly reminder to download the current issue or send you an occasional update.
Q: How can I get a back issue?A: Two (2) years worth of the digital issues are available in our members-area Free for download. You only need to subscribe to access the area. Earlier than two (2) years, you can still receive a back issue on CD for $5.00 plus postage. Prior to October 2004, we no longer have these issues available.
Q: Can I submit my photo, club colors, club photo for Long Riders© Magazine to place in the magazine?A: YES! If your photo has the proper information and is large enough in resolution, we place your photo in the first issue available. The information and photo specifications are indicated on the submission form. Subscribe to Long Riders© FREE so you don't miss out on seeing your photo. All photos submitted become the property of Long Riders© Magazine and will not be returned. By submitting your photo, you give Long Riders© permission to use your photo in Long Riders© Magazine, website and promotional advertising without compensation to you. Q: Will my photo also appear on Long Riders© website?A: Club colors, road shots and LR Rides are eventually posted on our website, once we place them in Long Riders© Magazine.
Q: Will I get paid for submitting my photo?A: No! Our readers participate in submitting their photos for the family, friends and other readers around the world to enjoy. The only payment we provide is to our freelance journalists who cover events that we approve in advance. We do accept articles with photos and captions for consideration in Long Riders© Magazine. Prior to sending any article for consideration, call 717-234-1541 or email us with a request and sample of your writing and photos. However, we will not return your submitted material. If we decide to print your article, we will contact you and agree on fair compensation.
Q: How do I get my event listed in Long Riders© Magazine's Calendar of Events?A: On our new website, we allow more event details than ever before. We also have the ability to approve your submission within approximately 24-36 hours. After this time period, you will see your event on our website. It will also be placed in the next available digital issue. Submission dates are indicated in the magazine. Your event is listed for FREE. We do NOT accept flyers, email attachments, and events sent through email for our FREE listing.
We DO accept flyers for advertisement of your event to be posted on our website or in the magazine, call 717-234-1541 for our very reasonable prices to advertise. Or email us to request prices.
